Lebua Hotel, State Tower, Thailand
As part of the re-branding and re-launch of an existing hotel at Bangkok's State Tower, dwp was commissioned to renovate the lobby of the new Lebua Hotel with a completely new look reflecting an exclusive luxury hotel.

To integrate and enhance the building's external Romanesque-style architecture, the design concept mixed European style with an Asian sensibility, reflecting the luxury and intimacy of a boutique five-star hotel. dwp created an inviting, warm lobby using classic furnishings in elegant materials such as onyx stone, plush Persian rugs, decorative distressed leathers and a grand piano. A cozy, semi-circular tea room lounge was created using deep chocolate tones in the walls and upholstery, with hints of colonial Asia in the shuttered wooden windows and dark woods. Masculine colours were chosen to create a discreet air in the Gentlemen's bar.

dwp successfully completed the challenge to create an elegant lobby in very limited space with numerous structural constraints within a very limited time frame.
