World-class architecture and interior design firm dwp was commissioned to lead the development of Abu Dhabi's first 5-star office building, within the Atkins-designed iconic 35-storey, tiered tower building, for the new International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) HQ. With over 89,510sqm, dwp created an innovative, fresh approach, to housing the company's facilities within this landmark building.

dwp set about evoking a brand experience of quality, grandeur and a magical link to the modern concept of Arab heritage. This was achieved by intertwining advanced concepts and materials with modern Arab motifs. IPIC staff and associates have thus been provided with exceptional spaces that are both dramatic and memorable. Movement and flux are expressed through the decorative wall panels and ceilings, while the lighting is inspired by the building's architecture language.

With the IPIC staff in mind, dwp designed the interiors for the various facilities, such as a fine dining restaurant, spa, fitness centre, gallery, library, boardroom and meeting facilities, with an industrial feel to reflect power business sphere, encompassing a modern affluence to echo growth. The interiors are intended to set a new benchmark in the UAE.
