Standard Chartered Bank

The word 'Saadiq' means truthful in Arabic, representing Standard Chartered Islamic Bank's commitment to providing innovative banking solutions that uphold their customers' beliefs. Working with Standard Chartered Bank's design hub, world-class architecture and interior design firm dwp was tasked with planning revisions, concept modifications, design documentation and project management for the new Standard Chartered Saadiq Branch in Bukit Tinggi, Klang.

Simple and clean in design to reflect the message of truthfulness, the new branch is equipped with disabled-friendly access and 24-hour auto-banking facilities for customer convenience. Four Personal Financial Consultant (PFC) stations and two meeting rooms were provisioned for private discussions. At any one time, the 9 hotdesks available are able to accommodate up to 15 back office staff. dwp's multidisciplinary team managed, oversaw and executed the new design, right through to handover.
