Thomson Reuters

World-class architecture and interior design firm dwp has provided workplace solutions for Thompson Reuters across Asia in China, India, Singapore, Thailand and The Philippines, a partnership spanning over a decade. dwp are the architects of Reuters unique open-plan working style, which reflects the business needs of this global communications giant. There are numerous areas for teamwork, private quiet space, various meeting settings and breakout areas.

Security of business functions was vital, despite the open-plan setting. As well as the creation of a variety of work settings, appropriate to the individual in a flat management structure, each facility had to be highly IT-enabled, with key server rooms, and had to reinforce the dynamic nature of global news and brand values through the use of exciting image graphics. Works for Reuters have included designing new locations and upgrading existing facilities, to embody a dynamic company moving into the future.

In 1998, dwp was commissioned to design and complete two floors of a creative and dynamic office environment for Reuters' technical computer facility in Thailand, and since has continued to deliver and finish Reuters' offices Asia-wide. To date, in Thailand alone, dwp has completed 13 floors, covering almost 17,000sqm, and nearly 30,000sqm throughout the region.
